August 2021, I was diagnosed with breast cancer DCIS and I got to be part of an amazing community. I also needed to adapt to some changes in my body. I made this design during my recovery, surrounded by cut flowers sent by loved ones while trying to make peace with what was going on. Foobs is a slang in breast cancer community, referring boobs after reconstruction following a mastectomy.
